Environmental Transformation of Organic Compounds:
Towards a Joint Perspective on the Importance of Transformation Products as Environmental Contaminants - TransCon2010
The conference's goal is to develop a framework for deciding how and when to include transformation products into chemical risk assessment and monitoring strategies. Experimental and model-based scientific methods will be discussed to improve our knowledge of what products a given chemical is transformed into, how the products behave in the environment, and what the toxicity of those products is.
