From Jean Crespin's Book of Martyrs to the Association Suisse pour l'histoire du refuge huguenot, from François Hotman to Pierre Bayle to François Guizot, this conference will trace the interaction of group identity, historical memory, and source-critical historical writing among the Huguenots, both in France and in diaspora across three continents, from 1555 to 2010.
