Enrica Borghi's project, curated by Nicoletta Mongini and Riccardo Caldura, is presented in collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti Venezia, CREA Cantieri del Contemporaneo and Asilo Bianco.
The aquatic universe that links the Venetian lagoon to our lake is the protagonist of this exhibition, where sea urchins, waves, molecules and bamboo canes emerge dressed in plastic, which the artist's eye sees being swallowed up by nature, which acts as its author, taking back its power, transforming the material that invades it into its own elements.
The exhibition is characterised by black and white, as to indicate the binary scheme on which the relationship between man and nature moves now, with no space for intermediate colours. Colour appears as the artist's concluding reading, identifying art as a vehicle and instrument for an encounter between nature and artifice, in which strength and harmony are restored to the dialogue between the elements.
The works are exhibited in the indoor and outdoor spaces of Monte Verità, with a symbolic installation at the Museo Comunale d'Arte Moderna in Ascona.
